This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering financial education programs and initiatives to empower individuals with essential financial knowledge and skills.
The role will also play a crucial part in enhancing financial literacy within our community and contributing to better financial decision-making through the Coronation Fantasy League and Coronation Academy and any other financial literacy platforms to be developed by Coronation.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement comprehensive financial education programs suitable for diverse audiences, including workshops, seminars, webinars, and digital content by leveraging the Fantasy League and Investment Academy.
Tailor financial literacy materials to address varying levels of financial understanding and different life stages.
Liaise with the communications team to create engaging and informative content related to budgeting, saving, investing, debt management, retirement planning, and other relevant financial topics.
Conduct engaging financial literacy sessions, both in-person and virtually, to educate individuals and groups on key financial concepts.
Collaborate with community organizations, schools, and institutions to extend the reach of financial education initiatives while promoting Coronation’s Financial literacy tools.
Provide one-on-one consultations to address specific financial concerns and help individuals set achievable financial goals.
Offer personalized guidance on managing financial challenges and building a solid financial foundation.
Monitor the effectiveness and adoption of financial literacy programs and platforms through participant feedback, activity rate, assessment results, and measurable improvements in financial behavior.
Liaise with the Research team to stay updated on current financial trends, regulations, and market developments to ensure the accuracy and relevance of educational materials.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Education, or a related field.
Minimum of Eight (8) years relevant post-qualification experience
Master's degree or Professional certification, e.g. CISA, CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CFA or other relevant professional certificate is an added advantage
Proven experience in financial education, teaching, training, or related roles.
Strong understanding of personal finance topics, including budgeting, saving, investing, debt management, and retirement planning.
Possess a solid grasp of gamification principles and their corresponding reward systems.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and relatable manner.
Ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and varying levels of financial knowledge.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple programs, events, and resources effectively.
Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for content creation and delivery.
