Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Finance Officer located in Lagos Island. The Finance Officer will be responsible for managing financial statements, utilizing analytical skills, overseeing finance activities, and ensuring accurate financial reporting on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Manage cash flow, monitor bank accounts, and ensure timely reconciliations.
• Support budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Provide financial analysis and advice to the management team as needed.

Qualifications

• Financial Statements and Financial Reporting skills
• Analytical Skills
• Finance expertise
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in the food industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Excel, Oddo).
• Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ICAN or similar) or willingness to pursue professional qualifications.
