You will lead the finance function, providing strategic insights, optimizing financial operations, and guiding the company through sound decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning to support business strategy
Deliver accurate, timely financial reports and ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and tax obligations
Optimize cash flow, working capital, and capital allocation; support fundraising and investment initiatives
Build financial models and analyses to inform strategic decisions and growth initiatives
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance and accountability-driven culture
Implement robust internal controls, identify financial risks, and coordinate audits with external auditors
Collaborate with business leaders to monitor and control costs, ensuring operational efficiency
Requirements
Desired Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance-related discipline.
Minimum of seven years’ experience, with at least four to five years in a senior finance management role.
Strong understanding of the agricultural, manufacturing, and wholesale industry is a plus.
Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
Experience in the design, implementation, and monitoring of financial systems and processes.
Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations and corporate finance principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to draw meaningful insights from financial data.
Proficiency in financial management software, ERPs, and MS Office Suite.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
