Role Overview

• You will lead the finance function, providing strategic insights, optimizing financial operations, and guiding the company through sound decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning to support business strategy
• Deliver accurate, timely financial reports and ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and tax obligations
• Optimize cash flow, working capital, and capital allocation; support fundraising and investment initiatives
• Build financial models and analyses to inform strategic decisions and growth initiatives
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance and accountability-driven culture
• Implement robust internal controls, identify financial risks, and coordinate audits with external auditors
• Collaborate with business leaders to monitor and control costs, ensuring operational efficiency

Requirements

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance-related discipline.
• Minimum of seven years’ experience, with at least four to five years in a senior finance management role.
• Strong understanding of the agricultural, manufacturing, and wholesale industry is a plus.
• Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
• Experience in the design, implementation, and monitoring of financial systems and processes.
• Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations and corporate finance principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to draw meaningful insights from financial data.
• Proficiency in financial management software, ERPs, and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
