    Event Planning Manager

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Event Planning Manager to lead our event planning team in coordinating, executing, and managing a diverse range of events.
    • This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can effectively oversee all aspects of event planning from conception through to execution.
    • This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our organization’s growth through strategic event planning and execution, making a significant impact on our community and stakeholders.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead the planning and execution of various events, including conferences, corporate meetings, and special functions.
    • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all financial aspects are monitored and controlled effectively.
    • Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and audiovisual requirements for events.
    • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand event objectives and align strategies accordingly.
    • Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers, ensuring optimal pricing and service delivery.
    • Oversee event marketing efforts, including social media promotion and email campaigns, to drive attendance and engagement.
    • Evaluate and report on event outcomes, gathering feedback and data to improve future events and enhance participant experiences.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree / HNDin Event Management, Hospitality, or related field.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale events from inception to completion.
    • Strong negotiation skills with experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
    • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in managing teams and collaborating across departments.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
