    Event Decorator Coordinator

    Key Responsibilities

    • Work closely with the Decoration Manager to implement creative concepts for events.
    • Coordinate all aspects of décor logistics including sourcing, setup, and teardown.
    • Liaise with clients to understand their decoration needs, preferences, and budget.
    • Schedule and supervise decoration teams, vendors, and freelancers.
    • Ensure decoration elements are delivered, arranged, and installed on-site according to plan.
    • Prepare and maintain inventory of décor materials, props, and supplies.
    • Conduct site visits and measure spaces to plan layouts effectively.
    • Ensure all decoration setups are safe, visually appealing, and meet quality standards.
    • Support the development of mood boards, sample setups, and client presentations.
    • Maintain clear records of decoration materials, costs, and timelines.
    • Ensure proper packing, storage, and maintenance of reusable decoration items after events.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Event Management, Interior Design, or a related field.
    • 1 - 3 years of experience in event decoration or coordination roles.
    • Good eye for design, aesthetics, and spatial arrangement.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Proficient in basic design tools (e.g., Canva, PowerPoint; SketchUp or CorelDraw is a plus).
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
    • Physically fit and able to handle hands-on setup tasks.
