Employment Lawyer at FoliXx Hospitality

• FoLiXx Hospitality is seeking a skilled Employment & Labour Lawyer to join our team. In this role, you will ensure compliance with labour laws, handle workplace disputes, and provide legal guidance on employment-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice on employment policies, contracts, and compliance with labour laws.
• Draft, review, and update employment contracts, company policies, and agreements.
• Handle employee disputes, grievances, and disciplinary matters while ensuring fair legal procedures.
• Represent the company in negotiations, mediations, and labour-related legal proceedings.
• Stay updated on employment laws and ensure company policies align with current regulations.
• Guide HR and management on best practices for hiring, terminations, workplace safety, and employee rights.
• Assist in handling regulatory audits and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) and Call to Bar (BL). A Master’s in Labour Law is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in employment and labour law, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and workplace regulations.
• Experience in dispute resolution, negotiations, and compliance.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with HR and management teams.
