    Employee Relations Manager

    The Opportunity:

    • We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager to join our Human Resources team.
    • This role involves maintaining positive employee relations, managing conflicts and grievances, and ensuring a harmonious work environment.
    • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, particularly in employee relations, and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.

    Your Role:

    • Develop, implement, and oversee HR policies and procedures to ensure a cohesive and compliant work environment.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations, handling grievances, conflicts, and ensuring fair treatment.
    • Address and resolve employee grievances and conflicts, ensuring fair and consistent treatment.
    • Advise management and staff on employment law, HR policies, and best practices.
    • Conduct investigations into workplace issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
    • Coordinate with various departments to implement employee engagement, performance management and retention strategies.
    • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback for improvement opportunities.
    • Manage recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
    • Ensure compliance with all labour laws and regulations.
    • Develop training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
    • Assist in the development of job descriptions, employee handbooks, and HR policies.
    • Handle HR administrative tasks, consultant time sheet management, benefits administration, and record-keeping.

    Your Profile:

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant HR certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a plus.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in employee relations or a similar role, preferably in the consulting or energy sector.
    • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations diplomatically.
    • Proven ability to manage conflicts and resolve issues effectively.
    • Organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
