    Employee Relations Manager

    Job Summary:

    • An Employee Relations Manager is an HR professional responsible for maintaining positive employee relationships and ensuring compliance with employment laws.
    • They also handle employee records and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
    • The Employee Relations Manager is responsible for providing counseling services to employees, participating in recruitment and dismissal processes, and performing employee background checks. They also communicate HR policies, collect and analyze employee data.
    • Their role is crucial in maintaining a productive work environment and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Offering counseling services to employees
    • Participating in recruitment and dismissal processes
    • Performing employee background checks and verifying information
    • Communicate policies pertaining to Human Resources, compensation, and benefits
    • Conduct exit interviews
    • Collect and analyze employee data
    • Use data to create employee profiles
    • Organize and update employee files
    • Adhere to regulatory standards
    • Represent the company at job fairs and college campuses

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Social Sciences or a related discipline.
    • Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experience, with at least four (4) years in a senior managerial position.
    • Background in mining or manufacturing industries will be an added advantage.
    • Associate or Full membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria.
