JOB SUMMARY:

• The Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting company personnel, goods, and equipment to various destinations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Functions:

• As a Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization by providing reliable transportation services.
• You will contribute to our strategic goals by maintaining our vehicles in excellent condition, adhering to all traffic regulations, and ensuring the safety and well-being of passengers and cargo during transit.

Operational Functions:

• Safely transport company personnel, goods, and equipment to designated locations.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and mileage.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
• Assist with loading and unloading of cargo as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service to passengers.
• Report any accidents, incidents, or traffic violations promptly.
• Adhere to a schedule for timely arrivals and departures.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior.
• Perform minor repairs in the vehicle when fluty.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• SSCE, High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license for the appropriate vehicle class (e.g., commercial driver's license for commercial driving).
• Proven safe driving record with no accidents or traffic violations.
• Minimum of 5 years previous experience as a professional driver preferred.
• Familiarity with local and regional road networks.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects when necessary.
• Good communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
• Ability to navigate using GPS and maps.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Flexibility in work hours and availability.
