Job Summary

• The Director, Corporate Finance & Strategy, will lead corporate financial planning, investment strategy, capital allocation, and enterprise performance management for the organisation. This is a high-impact leadership role requiring exceptional analytical rigour, strategic foresight, and mastery in guiding C-suite decisions. S/he will shape long-term financial direction, oversee mergers and acquisitions insights, and drive strategic initiatives that strengthen organisational stability and competitiveness.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of corporate finance strategy, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s long-term goals.
• Oversee capital allocation frameworks, financial modelling, scenario planning, and strategic forecasting.
• Provide executive-level advisory on investment decisions, M&A opportunities, and portfolio optimisation.
• Guide annual and multi-year budget planning, financial governance, and performance tracking.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align financial strategy with regulatory requirements and economic trends.
• Drive strategy formulation processes, including risk-adjusted planning, organisational prioritisation, and initiative sequencing.
• Advise senior leadership on economic, geopolitical, and market developments affecting long-term investment direction.
• Produce high-level board and executive reports that support accountability, transparency, and informed decision-making.

Educational Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master’s or MBA) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent are highly advantageous.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in corporate finance, investment strategy, economic advisory, or related sector.
• Proven expertise in capital allocation, enterprise financial planning, financial modelling, and M&A evaluations.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial modelling, strategic planning, capital structuring, and investment analysis.
• Strong background in working with regulatory institutions, investment authorities, or large financial organisations.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence senior decision-makers.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial concepts for executive and board audiences.
• High level of integrity, strategic thinking, and business acumen.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior executives, board committees, and external stakeholders.
