Demand Planning & Analysis Manager - FMN Holdings Limited at Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc

Purpose

• To lead the demand planning and forecasting process, ensuring accurate demand projections, optimized inventory levels, and efficient supply chain operations.

The Job

• Develop and implement robust demand planning processes to improve forecast accuracy and supply chain efficiency.
• Analyze historical sales data, market trends, seasonality, and promotional activities to predict future demand.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Production, Procurement, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to align demand forecasts with business objectives.
• Monitor demand patterns and adjust forecasts based on real-time market conditions, customer requirements, and business developments.
• Identify demand fluctuations and develop mitigation strategies to reduce stockouts, excess inventory, and supply disruptions.
• Utilize statistical forecasting models, data analytics tools, and industry best practices to enhance forecast reliability.
• Lead cross-functional demand review meetings to ensure alignment between demand and supply plans.
• Optimize inventory levels to balance customer service requirements with working capital and cost efficiency goals.

Requirements

• HND/Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
• ​Minimum of seven (7) years' experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain analytics, or related functions within a food manufacturing, FMCG, or similar industry.

The Person Must: ​

• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Have advanced knowledge of demand forecasting techniques and statistical analysis.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, ERP systems, and demand planning tools.
• Possess excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
