    Dispatch Manager - Golden Penny Foods

    Purpose

    • To oversee and manage dispatch operations, ensuring the timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery of goods while maintaining compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards.

    The Job

    • Supervise and coordinate daily dispatch operations to ensure on-time and accurate delivery of goods.
    • Monitor vehicle movements and optimize route planning to improve operational efficiency.
    • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

    Purpose

    • To provide strategic and operational leadership for maintenance and engineering activities across feed mill operations, ensuring high equipment reliability, safe plant operations, optimized asset lifecycle management, and cost-effective maintenance practices that support continuous production and business performance.

    The Job

    • Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance strategies for all plant machinery, utilities, and support systems.
    • Ensure high availability, reliability, and optimal performance of critical feed mill equipment through effective maintenance planning and execution.
    • Lead troubleshooting activities and conduct root cause analysis for complex mechanical, electrical, and operational failures.
    • Manage maintenance budgets, resources, and expenditure to achieve targeted maintenance costs and operational efficiency.
    • Oversee spare parts planning and inventory optimization to balance equipment uptime and working capital requirements.
    • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and statutory requirements while promoting a strong safety culture.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of B.Sc. or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
    • Membership of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) is required.
    • ​Minimum of ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of experience in maintenance leadership within a manufacturing, feed milling, or industrial production environment.
    • Strong hands-on knowledge of feed mill equipment, industrial maintenance practices, and asset reliability management.
