Data Analyst / Research and Development Officer at Ladkem Eye Hospital

Job Description

• Carry out instructions from the Chief Operating Officer concerning medical and social research about patients, medical diseases as well as social science related studies;
• Must compile and organize healthcare data;
• Must generate research report from data collected for local and internationally publication;
• Must be interested in generating research related document for publication;
• Must understand data storage and data sharing methods;
• Must investigate data to find patterns and trends;
• Must communicate analytic insights to management;
• Must generate electronic copies of case notes and upload into the electronic medical record;
• Assist with data entry and management of database;
• Will be involved in carrying out administrative duties that ensures the smooth running of the hospital;

Job Requirements

• Candidates must have a Medical Science-related Degree with certification in Statistics, Public Health, Epidemiology or other related disciplines;
• Proficiency with database programming languages such as SQL;
• Proficiency with Python for data manipulation;
• Experience with data visualization tools;
• Knowledge of data management applications;
• Proficiency in managing electronic medical records;
• Analytical mindset with good problem-solving skills;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Good interpersonal skill;
• Must have initiative and must be self-motivated;
• Must submit both physical and electronic copy of their credentials.
