    Cooperate Communications Manager

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Responsible to:          

    Chief Executive Officer

    Responsible for:         

    The Manager of Corporate Communications will lead the organizations communications team and will develop and implement internal and external communication strategies for the organization to ensure that unified, consistent, and positive messages define and promote the corporate identity and mission.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Corporate Communication

    • Represents the company in a variety of settings, always promoting the company in the best possible way.
    • Seeks new methods and creative strategies to increase internal and external awareness of the group to key events and changes in the industry including the latest and trending news and opportunity in the industry, special events, local and global community service, and other topics of interest.
    • Oversees the workflow and work assignments of the group to ensure effective collaboration among team members and consistent quality work.
    • Develops and implements policies and procedures for communicating on behalf of the organization that represents, identity, promotes and supports the organizations mission.
    • Identifies and capitalizes on opportunities to promote and positively represent the organization through internal and external communication

    Executive Duties

    • Managing the CEO’s calendar, including making appointments and prioritizing the most sensitive matters
    • Maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information
    • Coordinate travel arrangements, prepare itineraries, plan logistics, and submit expense reports
    • Schedule appointments, and maintain and update CEO’s daily calendar
    • Manage complex office administrative work requiring the use of independent judgment and initiative
    • Screen all incoming phone calls, inquiries, visitors, and correspondence, and route accordingly
    • Providing administrative assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on the executive’s behalf

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in Communication/Administrative/HR role
    • Masters in Managerial or Administrative Course is an added advantage
    • Excellent Strategic organizational skills
    • Excellent Managerial skills
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with a strong attention to detail
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, and social media web platforms
    • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
    • Time management and ability to meet deadlines
    • Problem-solving and decision making
    • Proactivity and self-direction
