Job Brief

• Conti-national cook is responsible for the preparation, cooking and presentation of national and continental dishes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all national and continental dishes according to specified recipe.
• Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen.
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
• Check quality of ingredients.
• Adjusts food items to accommodate clients with allergies or specific diet concerns.
• Season food according to recipes or company needs.
• Operates various kitchen appliance such as a blender etc.

Qualifications / Requirements

• The candidate must have valid HUET or BOSIET certificate..
• Applicants must be well versed in different continental and national dishes with 3 years working experience.
• Minimum of OND certificate.
• Diploma from a culinary school is added advantage.
