    Conti-national Cook

    Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

    Job Brief

    • Conti-national cook is responsible for the preparation, cooking and presentation of national and continental dishes.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare all national and continental dishes according to specified recipe.
    • Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
    • Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
    • Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen.
    • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.

    • Responsible for making sure all the rooms and environment assigned are clean, neat, and tidy.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist cook during food preparation.

    Catering Camp Boss

    Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

    Job Brief

    • To manage all aspects of Catering, housekeeping, laundry services etc at a location.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for operational activities in the camp or rig under his supervision, ensuring the daily good management of the location.
    • Carry out the daily, weekly and monthly duties as laid out by the Company and below detailed.
    • Fill and keep record of administrative forms in accordance with the Company rules.
    • Manage catering crew working at the camp and increase their motivation.
    • Supervise and take part to the training of staff, according to the rules of HSE, Food Hygiene and Safety, HACCP, etc.
    • Responsible for requests made to warehouse, stocking and stock checking in addition to cost control reporting according to the rules made by the Company, always ensuring a minimum stock quantity for each item.
    • Responsible for cold and dry stores in the location.
    • Monthly Inventory with reported expiry date of all products.
    • Inventory and record of sales of mini-market or bonded store (in case it exists), filling the relative form.
    • P.O.B. duly signed by the Client or his Representative.
    • Records of extra services and sales rendered to Clients, duly signed by the Client, reporting the number of budgeted Projects or refer to object or person, to be invoiced.
    • Keep a record and recap of the weekly menu agreed with the Client, duly signed by the Client and Camp Boss, and sent to the main office, with all documents.
    • Keep a record and recap of: Daily presences of the Client, Daily inventory, Cash and market movement in proper forms, Recap of extra sales to the Client.
    • Fill the Local staff Time sheet and attendance register.
    • Responsible for the effective cleaning of the kitchen and all its corresponding areas, the dining area and stores, in accordance with the food Hygiene and Safety rules.
    • Supervise the preparation of all meals and ensure that menus established are being adhered to.
    • Ensure that all food, products, and merchandise are in conformity with the Company standards.
    • Ensure that a delicate part of the fridge is dedicated to sample foods which must be kept for 72 hrs in accordance with the Company procedure.
    • Ensure that all staff, Local and Expatriates, wear PPE, clean uniforms always and that the food handling staff always wear disposable hand gloves and hats, not only during service.
    • Ensure that the housekeeping of the accommodation should be carried out in line with reviewed standards, everyday and whenever required.
    • Ensure that the laundry schedule is carried out accordingly, instructing the Local staff on how to use the various cleaning products and regularly daily, draw to their attention the safety procedures during use.
    • Carry out regular inspections of the accommodation, common areas, dining area, stores (dry and cold rooms) to ensure that cleaning and maintenance work have been carried out in accordance with Company and CLIENT rules.
    • It is compulsory to be always present on the food line during the meal service as this is an essential element of your duty

    Qualifications / Requirements

    • HND / B.Sc. / B.Ed. / B.Tech
    • Minimum of 4 years experience in this position.
    • Must have HUET/BOSIET
    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications
    • Compliance to basic food hygiene and Safety.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and must be result oriented.

    Laundry Man

    Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

    Job Brief

    • Ensure that all laundry services for the Client is done as per the standard policies, collection of laundry from guest rooms, dry-cleaning, washing, drying, pressing, and folding of Client laundry.

    Responsibilities

    • Wash and fold clean laundry, towels, washcloths, hand towels, bathmats, etc.
    • Follow up ongoing coaching, guidance, training, and correction as provided by your Camp boss.
    • Report laundry items for repair and maintenance
    • Proper record keeping for your day-to-day usage of supplies.
    • Monitor and assist your Camp boss to maintain inventory of all laundry supplies, linen, towels in accordance with budget.
    • Maintain a clean and safe workplace, with emphasis on employee health and fire/chemical safety.
    • Ensure that all chemicals in your department are stored handled according to company policy.
    • Perform other miscellaneous duties, as necessary and assigned by your Camp Boss. This includes duties relative to facility maintenance/ cleanliness and various job-related orders by the Camp boss.
