    Compensation and Benefit Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Compensation and Benefits Officer supports the design, administration, and analysis of the organization's total rewards programs. This role plays a key part in ensuring competitive and compliant compensation and benefits structures, while providing analytical and operational support across the HR and Finance teams.

    Key Roles & Responsibilities 

    • Assist in the design and implementation of compensation programs, including job evaluations, salary surveys, and pay structure frameworks. 
    • Administer employee compensation changes, ensuring adherence to internal policies and applicable labor regulations. 
    • Conduct market research and benchmarking analyses to ensure the organization’s compensation and benefits remain competitive within the industry. 
    • Prepare and analyze compensationrelated reports and dashboards for HR and management decisionmaking. 
    • Respond to employee and manager inquiries regarding compensation and benefits policies with professionalism and clarity. 
    • Support the annual compensation review cycle, including performancebased salary adjustments and bonus administration. 
    • Collaborate with HRIS and Finance teams to maintain accurate and efficient compensation and benefits data management systems. 
    • Assist in the development and facilitation of training sessions on compensation and benefits for HR teams and people managers. 
    • Manage employee benefits programs, including pensions, healthcare, and wellness initiatives, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with organizational goals. 
    • Maintain accurate, secure, and uptodate records for compensation and benefits transactions and documentation. 

    Skills & Competencies 

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas 
    • Familiarity with HRIS systems and compensation management tools 
    • Basic understanding of compensation principles and market benchmarking 
    • Good analytical skills, experience with quantitative data collection and analysis 
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively 
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment while fostering positive relationships 
    • Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement 
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills 
    • Ability to handle and maintain confidential information

    Academic / Professional Qualifications/ Experience 

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field 
    • Human Resource Certification (e.g., CIPM, PHR) is mandatory 
    • 4+ years of experience in compensation and benefits or a related role 
    • Experience with compensation software or HRIS systems 
    • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to compensation
