Job Summary

Civil Engineers are generally responsible for designing, constructing and managing various construction projects such as roads, building, tunnels, bridges and others.We are looking for innovative Civil Engineers to join our team. As a Civil Engineer at our company, you will mainly be responsible for designing, developing and constructing a wide range of interesting projects.

Scope of Work

• Manage, design, develop, create and maintain project
• Major in the construction of roads, buildings or bridges
• Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and others)
• Carry out technical and feasibility studies
• Draw up blueprints according to technical specifications
• Assess potential risks, materials and material and labor costs
• Provide advice and suggestions to resolve problems
• Oversee and monitor field staff
• Liaise with a variety of stakeholders
• Monitor progress of projects
• Produce reports in project status
• Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits
• You should be based in one of these locations (Adamawa, Kaduna, Katsina, Ogun and Lagos State). Preferably, engineers that major in road construction should be based in Ogun state, engineer that major in bridges should be based in Katsina while engineer that major in building should be based in either Adamawa or Kaduna.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Building or any relevant field. MSc is an added advantage
• Minimum of 5 years previous experience in constructing roads, buildings or bridges
• Strong leadership qualities
• Strong integrity and accountability
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to handle pressure
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of road, building or bridge construction
• Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
