The Chief Finance Officer is responsible for providing strategic financial leadership, ensuring robust financial management, and supporting sustainable value creation in the company’s operations.
The role encompasses oversight of financial planning, capital investment, risk management, joint venture accounting, and fiscal compliance.
Partner with the CEO and executive team to define and execute the upstream business strategy.
Drive long-term financial planning aligned with reserve replacement, production targets, and capital efficiency.
Identify and manage financial and operational risks specific to upstream activities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Minimum of 25 years’ experience in oilfield services, with at least 8 years in executive leadership.
Familiarity with upstream oil and gas operations, including exploration, production, reservoir and rig management, is advantageous.
Proven track record of senior leadership experience in finance, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
Strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and corporate finance.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute financial strategies that drive business growth and create value.
Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse complex issues, make sound decisions, and drive results in a dynamic environment.
