Role Overview
As a Caregiver/Nanny, you will play a vital role in the daily care, safety, and development of children in our crèche. You will work closely with other team members to create a warm, engaging, and structured environment where children feel secure and supported.
This is a fully hands-on role, requiring active participation in all aspects of childcare. You will be part of the adult-to-child ratio and expected to supervise and engage children at all times.
Working Schedule
- Shift-based role between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday
- Flexibility required to work early or late shifts as scheduled
Key Responsibilities
Childcare & Supervision
- Provide attentive, loving, and responsible care to children aged 0–5 years
- Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and wellbeing
- Support daily routines including feeding, diapering, toileting, and rest time
- Comfort and care for children when they are distressed
Learning & Development Support
- Assist in implementing age-appropriate learning and play activities (EYFS-based)
- Engage children in play, storytelling, music, and creative activities
- Observe and report on children’s development and behaviour
Health, Hygiene & Safety
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness at all times
- Follow all health and safety procedures strictly
- Ensure toys, play areas, and equipment are clean and safe
- Report any incidents, injuries, or concerns promptly
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with other caregivers and the Crèche Managers
- Follow daily routines and instructions consistently
- Support colleagues to maintain required adult-to-child ratios
Parent Interaction
- Communicate politely and professionally with parents during drop-off and pick-up
- Provide basic feedback on the child’s day when required.
- IT proficient as apps will be used. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
Candidate Profile
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children aged 0–5 years is required
- Previous experience in a crèche, nursery, or as a nanny is preferred.
- Minimum of SSCE/OND (additional childcare qualifications are an advantage)
- Basic knowledge of child development
- Paediatric First Aid and CPR certification (an advantage)
