ICT Teacher at Wellspring College

Location: Wellspring College, Lagos

Wellspring College is seeking to engage an innovative, passionate, and results-driven ICT Teacher who is committed to equipping students with the digital knowledge and practical skills required to excel in a technology-driven world.

The successful candidate will inspire learners through engaging classroom instruction, foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and prepare students for outstanding performance in external examinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons in line with the College's curriculum and best teaching practices.
• Prepare students for external examinations with a focus on achieving outstanding results.
• Integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning.
• Assess, monitor, and evaluate students' academic progress, providing timely feedback and intervention where necessary.
• Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and digital literacy.
• Maintain accurate records of students' performance and progress.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings, professional development programmes, and other College activities.
• Contribute to the holistic development of students through mentorship and positive role modelling.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Management.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, ICT Education, or a related discipline.
• A recognized teaching qualification is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 4 years' teaching experience, preferably in a reputable College.
• A verifiable track record of preparing students for external examinations with commendable success rates.
• Strong knowledge of contemporary ICT concepts, emerging technologies, and effective teaching methodologies.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and educational innovation.
• A growth mindset, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic learning environment.
