About the role
The role holder will support Christian Aid’s implementation for Capacity Development in the Youth–In–Work Project in Adamawa State, Nigeria, ensuring Capacity Development activities are effectively planned for, incorporated and functioning optimally across multiple project locations in the humanitarian/development sector. The role holder will assist in the conduct of capacity development of participants (training of trainers, business model design and implementation, establishing linkages to additional business development services).
He/she will foster strong, collaborative relationships with partner institutions and additional business development service providers. Other roles will include overseeing the implementation of training and provision of additional business development services to MSMEs and ensuring all activities are planned and delivered according to CAID standards, providing effective and timely support to agribusiness entrepreneurs, and enabling them to carry out and upscale their businesses as the opportunity is available.
The role holder will be representing CAID in sector working group meetings/activities as the need arises, and engage in the right networks while increasing the profile of CAID Humanitarian and resilience work and its visibility in the region.
