    Business Development Manager - Healthcare

    Job Purpose

    • The Business Development Manager (Healthcare) will drive growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting healthcare solutions.
    • The role involves identifying and developing leads, converting opportunities into revenue, and ensuring sustainable and profitable growth while maintaining strong market presence.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within hospitals, clinics, HMOs, and healthcare providers for the sales of health equipment.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
    • Promote healthcare solutions/services and convert leads into revenue.
    • Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and bids.
    • Conduct market research and track competitor activities.
    • Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with company objectives.
    • Maintain an active sales pipeline and update CRM records.
    • Drive sales performance and achieve revenue targets within the territory.
    • Manage key accounts and ensure client retention and satisfaction.
    • Identify new partnerships, channels, and growth opportunities.
    • Represent the company at industry events and networking forums.

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.

    Experience:

    • 5 – 7 years’ experience in business development or sales within the healthcare sector.
    • At least 3–5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
    • Proven track record in healthcare sales, partnerships, or client acquisition.

    Skills:

    • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry and market dynamics.
    • Experience in solution selling and key account management.
    • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
    • Strong analytical and market research capabilities.
    • Ability to build and maintain high-value relationships.
    • Strategic thinking with strong problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools. High level of commercial awareness and business acumen.
