We are looking for a Business Development Executive to work closely with our Marketing and Sales teams.
Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.
It is an added advantage if you have experience in developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas.
You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle from establishing a customer contact till signing a deal.
You will also ensure proper after-sales service.
Responsibilities
Attracting new clients by innovating, and tactfully handling the business engagements with the client
Proactively engage new Commercial & Industrial sector clients by deploying tact and innovative techniques in providing solutions to their energy needs using renewable energy technology (particularly Solar PV)
Identifying and researching opportunities that come up in new and existing programs/markets within the Renewable energy space
Preparing compelling proposals, project business plans and relevant marketing or project development documentation to attract clients and project financiers
Preparing and if need be, delivering pitches and presentations to business prospects
Communicating with existing and prospective clients to understand their needs and offer relevant solutions to their problems within the Company’s product and service offerings
Creating positive, long-lasting relationships with current and potential clients and stakeholders in the market space
Handling corporate communications and content development for the Company’s corporate outlook
Requirements
B.Sc / M.Sc Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, Social Sciences or any relevant discipline
0 - 4 years experience.
Relevant experience or considerable understanding and proven interest in renewable energy sector (especially Solar power)
Intuitive, insightful, and innovative thought pattern
Professional yet affable disposition
Great networking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Good with developing captivating content, document designs and presentations
Adept use of Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint). Proficiency in the use of graphic designing software will be an added advantage.
Resourceful, with outstanding research skills.
Adventurous and emboldened by challenges
Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (eg: inbound, outbound, field sales)
