    Business Development and Strategy Manager

    Job Overview

    • The Business Development and Strategy Manager is responsible for driving the company's growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic initiatives, and executing long-term strategies to achieve organizational goals. 
    • This role requires a dynamic and results-oriented individual with expertise in market analysis, competitive intelligence, partnership development, and strategic planning. 
    • The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership to define and execute business development initiatives that align with the company's objectives.

    Key Responsibilities
    Business Development:

    • Identify Opportunities:Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams in line with the company's growth objectives.
    • Market Research & Analysis:Conduct comprehensive market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities.
    • Client Engagement:Develop relationships with potential clients and strategic partners to generate new business leads and ensure continued business growth.
    • Proposal Development:Lead the creation of compelling business proposals, presentations, and RFP responses that align with company objectives.
    • Networking:Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build and maintain business relationships.

    Strategic Planning:

    • Strategic Development:Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and refine business strategies that enhance competitive advantage and market positioning.
    • Execution of Strategy:Oversee the execution of business strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and tracking progress toward KPIs.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration:Work with other departments, such as marketing, sales, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment of business strategies across the organization.
    • Business Forecasting:Provide insights into revenue forecasting, growth trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform decision-making.

    Client & Market Analysis:

    • Competitive Intelligence:Analyze competitors' strengths and weaknesses and provide actionable insights to adapt strategies.
    • Market Segmentation:Identify and evaluate market segments and customer demographics for targeted business development efforts.
    • Client Retention:Develop strategies to ensure high levels of client retention and satisfaction.

    Leadership & Team Management:

    • Mentorship:Provide mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration within the business development team.
    • Collaborative Leadership:Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement successful business development and strategic initiatives.

    Qualifications
    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, strategy management, or a similar role, preferably in [industry relevant to the company].
    • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, securing strategic partnerships, and successfully managing complex projects.
    • Experience in strategic planning, business modeling, and market analysis.

    Skills:

    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate market trends, financial reports, and competitor activities.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
    • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and business intelligence tools.
    • Strong leadership capabilities, with experience managing and developing teams.
    • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically, with a hands-on approach when necessary.
    • Results-driven with a passion for driving growth and achieving targets.
