Business Analyst - Cross-Functional/Departmental Analytics
This Analyst will support multiple departments such as Operations, Finance, Product, Marketing, Customer Experience, People and Culture within the organisation. They will build dashboards, run departmental KPIs, respond to ad-hoc requests, and ensure each team has clean, reliable, and actionable insights. This role acts as an internal consultant and maintains consistent metrics across the company.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as analytics support for several internal departments.
Build dashboards and reports for performance monitoring across functions.
Conduct ad-hoc deep dives for strategic questions and leadership requests.
Standardise metric definitions and maintain documentation.
Ensure high data quality for departmental data sources.
Translate varying business requirements into analysis, models, and insights.
Present periodic multi-department performance reports to leadership.
Provide optimisation recommendations based on departmental KPIs.
Requirements
2–3+ years experience as a Business or Data Analyst.
Strong SQL and Excel/Sheets skills.
BI tools experience (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Data Studio).
Experience with advanced analytics or automation tools (e.g., Python, R, or similar technologies) is an added advantage.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and contexts simultaneously.
Excellent communication and data storytelling skills.
