The Budget & Financial Reporting Officer will support the organisation’s budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes, providing accurate and timely information to assist executive decision-making.
Responsibilities
Coordinate the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting process across departments and facilities.
Consolidate budgets and prepare the organisation-wide budget for management approval.
Prepare timely, accurate management and financial reports, including variance analysis.
Develop and maintain reporting templates, dashboards and financial models.
Monitor performance against budget and provide insight on drivers and corrective actions.
Support preparation of statutory financial statements in line with IFRS.
Support liquidity, cost-management and profitability analysis.
Liaise with auditors and support audit and regulatory reporting.
Continuously improve reporting processes and controls.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field, plus completion of NYSC or a valid exemption where applicable.
6–8 years in budgeting, FP&A or financial reporting, including preparing reports and analysing variances.
Experience in a hospital, healthcare or institutional finance environment is an advantage.
