Description:

• Ensure adherence to organizational policies, processes, and risk management manuals
• Review all payments/ cash outflows to ensure accuracy of amount and that all necessary approvals have been obtained
• Review of all credits – documentations for new credits, credit approval memos, and extension and disbursement memos – and make recommendations to the MCC. (Management credit committee)
• Rendition of Statutory Returns on a periodic basis to the relevant regulatory authorities: CBN, NFIU & other regulatory bodies
• Schedule MCC meetings as appropriate, and periodic loan portfolio review and watch-list meetings
• Review the rendition of all relevant compliance filings to all the relevant regulatory bodies in a timely manner
• Perform pre and post loan/credit assessment, monitoring and review reports periodically
• Liaise and maintain relationship with the relevant regulatory authorities
• Responsible for the all internal control function and Liaise with responsible officers
• Perform all that is necessary to ensure the safeguarding of the company’s assets and adherence to the highest compliance/ethical standards.
• Other tasks as directed by the management.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. / HND Accounting /Finance/any other social sciences
• ACA/ACCA or partly qualified
• Aged maximum 38 years
• Minimum of 5-7 years working experience in the financial services industry (MFB or finance company)
• Good knowledge of IFRS and Bank’s software
• Strong relationship and interpersonal management skills
• A self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and an assertive personality.
• Strong personal values and high moral standard
• Registration with Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria an added advantage
