Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and statements
• Monitor daily revenue from advert sales, sponsorships, and other income streams
• Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow
• Process invoices, payments, and payroll
• Track advert bookings and ensure proper billing and revenue recognition
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Develop and manage budgets for departments and programs
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements
• Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage
• Minimum of 3–5 years accounting experience (media industry experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
