We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and support effective financial management within the hospital.
The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, preferably with experience in the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
Manage hospital revenue, including HMO payments, patient billing, and cash collections.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor daily financial transactions.
Ensure proper documentation of expenses and financial activities.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor budgets and provide financial analysis to management.
Ensure compliance with statutory financial requirements and tax regulations.
Coordinate with internal departments on financial matters.
Assist in audit preparations and respond to audit queries.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA or in view) is an added advantage.
3–5 years accounting experience
Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Good understanding of HMO billing and healthcare financial systems is an advantage.
Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
