Accountant at Lifeline Children's Hospital

Job Summary 

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and support effective financial management within the hospital.
• The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, preferably with experience in the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Manage hospital revenue, including HMO payments, patient billing, and cash collections.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor daily financial transactions.
• Ensure proper documentation of expenses and financial activities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor budgets and provide financial analysis to management.
• Ensure compliance with statutory financial requirements and tax regulations.
• Coordinate with internal departments on financial matters.
• Assist in audit preparations and respond to audit queries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA or in view) is an added advantage.
• 3–5 years accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of HMO billing and healthcare financial systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
