Job Summary

• We’re looking for a smart, detail-oriented and enthusiastic Junior Account Officer to join our dynamic team
• The successful candidate will provide support to our finance team, record transactions, reconcile accounts, and assist with financial reporting.
• The role also involves ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Sorting of requisitions and invoices that have been approved for payment.
• Monthly and weekly filling of requisitions.
• Handling of bank reconciliationas the need arises.
• Ensure the accurate record keeping of copies of requisitions and financial documents.
• Provide general administrative support to the finance team, including filing, scanning, and data entry.
• Assist the department on monthly close out report.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Team Lead.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND in Accounting or a related field.
• 1-2 years of accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of an accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
