Account and Finance Officer at FMR AGENCY

About the Role

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Account & Finance Officer with strong experience in both fintech and traditional banking to manage financial operations, ensure compliance, and drive efficiency within our fast-growing digital finance company.
• The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial management within crypto exchange, virtual card, and digital payment systems, as well as a solid foundation in banking and accounting best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including payables, receivables, and reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
• Track and reconcile crypto and fiat transactions across multiple platforms.
• Oversee budget preparation, expense management, and cash flow monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax obligations, and internal audit requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, regulatory bodies, and banking partners.
• Provide financial insights to management for strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with product and operations teams to align accounting processes with fintech transaction systems (crypto exchange, virtual cards, bill payments, and gift cards).
• Implement and maintain accounting software for efficient reporting and control.
• Develop and enforce internal financial policies to prevent fraud and ensure transparency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in finance or accounting roles within both fintech and banking environments (required).
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is a strong advantage.
• Strong understanding of digital payment systems, cryptocurrency accounting, and financial reconciliations.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Zoho Books.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must reside within close proximity to Ikeja for ease of commute.

Compensation
N300,000net Monthly (Negotiable based on experience)
