ACTIVITIES
- Tofollow-uptheConstructionandassociatedpre-commissioningactivitiesrelatedtoNigerianContent(NC) packages,upto endof Constructionandload-out/integrationworks. Ensurethatfabricationisin accordancewiththedesign.
- · Toensurethatallconstructionactivitiesrelatedtohisdisciplineareperformedsafelyandefficientlyin line withcompanyobjectives.
- · Tooverseetheactivitiesofallsiteteamswithinhisdisciplinetoensurethatalltechnical,contractualand costinformationis properlyrecorded,collatedandavailableforinspection/referenceasrequiredby companypolicy.
- · To identifydeficienciesanddevelopsolutionstoidentifiedconstructionproblemswithinhis discipline.
- · Monitorallstructuralrelatedworksduringprefabricationanderection.
- · Ensurecontractorto followandcomplywithrequirementof CompanyspecificationGS STR.
- · ReviewsstructuralmaterialcertificatesarrivedatworkshoptogetherwithQA/QCsuperintendent.
- · Commentsonthecontractordocumentsrelatedtostructuralin duetime.
- · Reviewandcommentsitequeriesrelatedto structuralworksandco-ordinatetheresponsewithstructural engineerleader.
- · Closecommunicationandexchange/sharean information/constraintatyardwithstructuralengineerleader.
- · MonitorQCactivitieswithinhisdiscipline
- · Tomanageconstructioninterfaceswithinhisdisciplinewithothers(engineering,othersub-projects, commissioning)arbitratingbetweendifferentdisciplines,theonlycriterionbeingtheoverallgoodof the project.
- · Tomaintaingoodrelationshipswithcontractors,beingrelativelyflexible,proactivebutalsostrictwhen necessarytoachievetheobjectivesof theproject.
- · Toensurethatsafetyremainsthemainpriorityontheconstructionsiteatalltimes.
- · Attendthetoolboxmeetings.
- · Toensurethattheconstructionyardsareprovidedwithsuitableinformationin linewithrequirements (technical& schedule),troubleshootinganytechnicalproblemsthatcouldaffectconstruction/fabrication.
- · To identifycriticalactivitiesandpotentialbottlenecksfortheprogressoftheworks.
- · Toinformperiodicallyto ConstructionYardRepresentativeabouttheprogressactivitiesandareaof concern.
- · Toprepareorhelpto preparereportsforcompany,partners,andauthoritiesasrequired.

- · Tostayvigilantandmaintaincontinuousawarenessofhazardsandsurroundings.
- · Toparticipatetolocalprogramsorinitiativesto improveHSSEperformances.
- · ToreporttoManagementonanyissuetheymayfaceorobserveandproposewayof improvement.
