VP of Operations at iROKO Partners Ltd

Job description
You will be a leader in a high-performing team responsible for people operations for a global workforce (NYC and Lagos). We are expanding at a rapid pace and need to expand our expertise to build the infrastructure now that will enable us to quickly scale across africa and manage centrally. We need you to identify, recommend and lead automation and process improvement in the area of global operations and reporting. To be successful you will bring strong expertise and experience, a natural intellectual curiosity and a passion for excellence. Additionally, you'll need to be proactive in building relationships cross-functionally with Finance, HR, Legal, IT, TV and other business partners.

Role Responsibilities:

•      Develop and implement a full operational strategy that effectively coordinates across functions to drive organizational delivery and performance
•     Develop, implement and evaluate key performance indicators for multiple departments
•     Provide weekly/monthly operational reports and updates on company performance to the COO
•     Collaborate with the CTO to direct and drive the operations IT strategy for faster delivery of core operations metrics.

Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications:

•     MBA qualification from foreign academic institution is desirable
•     5+ years progressive commercial experience in an operations / senior management capacity
•     Proven experience in organizational development, personnel management and strategic planning.
•     Proven ability to organize, summarize, clarify and communicate ideas simply, succinctly and accurately
•     Proven ability to lead and coordinate efforts in a cross functional team to achieve results
•     Strong management reporting and financial analysis skills
•     Experience in Entertainment /Media industry
