    Job Purpose

    • The Business Analyst will be responsible for driving a new way of thinking, working, collaborating, planning, and delivering products.
    • You will be working with multiple stakeholders to enable product development and features enhancement.

    Principal Responsibilities

    • Interfacing with cross-functional team and act as a liaison between business and technical teams; highlighting product features and telling stories in a manner clearly understandable to the development team,
    • Participating in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and demo meetings and providing feedback on sprint achievements and goals,
    • Monitoring the progress of product development, and together with IT Project Manager facilitating product release planning and testing,
    • Working with Product Managers to prioritize feature development based on the business value,
    • Eliciting and creating initial epics/features and elaborating into user stories, process flows, wireframes, mockups/demos, and acceptance criteria that clearly describe the functional and non-functional requirements,
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams within a Scrum framework to conduct work sessions and document new features, perform testing in Development and UAT environment, and track bugs, enhancements and ensure issues are resolved before going to production/live environment,
    • Implement rapid ‘test-and-learn’ pilots to test new features and products, and working closely with the Product Management and Developers teams to quickly scale up winning pilots,
    • By interfacing with Strategy and Planning Manager, Product Manager and Commercial Analyst maintaining deep and timely intelligence on clients’ needs, market conditions, industry and regulatory trends, and competitors,
    • Integrating the business implications of market intelligence and helping Developers’ team understand and act upon these insights.

    Requirements

    • A University degree, MSc/MBA is an added advantage
    • Solid experience and understanding of Agile in developing epics, themes, user stories, and requirements gathering,
    • “Own it” mentality and unique ability to cut through the noise to get things done inventively and efficiently
    • Ability to plan and execute with and through people in a matrixed organization
    • Good At collaborating, building positive relationships, and advancing business goals.
    • Outstanding critical thinking, analytical, influencing and communication skills.
    • Organized, independent, flexible multi-tasker with keen attention to detail
    • Comfortable in a fast-moving environment with contending projects and priorities
    • Capable of facilitating meetings and communicating findings and results to project leadership
