The service to be delivered is detailed in the attached schedule.
The services will be delivered over a maximum of 180 days The Consultant will provide skills development and economic empowerment support to seven hundred and fifty (750) beneficiaries in LGAs (namely Bama, Damboa and Maiduguri) in Borno State. The planned support will take the form of technical and practical skills training aimed at developing the capacity of participants to engage in the local construction industry as bricklayers, plumbers and carpenters. The objective of this project is to create a pool of well-trained artisans with the skills to support post conflict reconstruction efforts in Borno state and establish small-scale businesses, under the cooperative business model.
The successful Consultant must demonstrate a methodology for measuring the impact of the project as well as a sustainability plan.
