Certified Data Protection Officer (CDPO) at Audit and Systems Solutions Nig. Ltd.

We are seeking a Certified Data Protection Officer (CDPO) to join our organization in Nigeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA), NDPR, and other applicable data protection regulations, while promoting a strong data privacy culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure organizational compliance with NDPA, NDPR, and relevant data protection laws
• Develop, implement, and monitor data protection policies and procedures
• Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and risk assessments
• Serve as the primary contact point for the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC)
• Oversee data breach management, reporting, and response processes
• Provide data protection training and awareness to staff
• Advise management on privacy-by-design and data governance matters

Requirements:

• Certification as a Data Protection Officer (CDPO) from IIM
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian data protection laws and global best practices
• Proven experience in data protection, compliance, legal, IT, or risk management
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
• High level of integrity and attention to detail
