Deputy Crewing Manager at Adexen

Responsibilities

• The primary function is to ensure effective day to day crew operation and crewing support based on quality for each individual vessel and seafarer.
• To facilitate a good working environment and personal interaction between ship and shore
• Participate in the recruitment, evaluation, induction, training processes
• Support planning and crew operation of the vessels
• Ensure compliance with statutory, industry and business unit certifications as well as training requirements
• Visa and documentation handling
• Managing career development of the seafarers
• Promotion and development of officers
• Performance reviews and follow up

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Social Science or marine background
• Master's degre will be an advantage
• Minimum of  years experience in crewing or a related function within in recognised company
• Relevant Certifications and Trainings will be an advantage
• Working knowledge of STCW regulations
• Able to multi-task and work well under pressure
• Ability to work in a friendly manner to standard operating procedures
• Ability to communicate competently and understand the needs of others
