NEBOSH IGC Instructor /Assessor at Dexterous Applied Training Institute (DATI)

Job Role
The trainers will typically perform the following roles:

• Evaluator. Identifying the extent of the impact of a safety-training program.
• Group Facilitator. Managing group discussion and group process.
• Individual Development Counselor. Helping an employee assess personal safety competencies, values, and goals.
• Instructional Writer. Preparing written learning and instructional materials.
• Instructor. Presenting safety information and directing structured learning experiences.
• Manage of Training and Development. Planning, organizing, stafg content, fng, controlling safety training and development operations/projects.
• Needs Analyst. Defining gaps between ideal and actual safety performance and specifying the cause of the gaps.
• Program Administrator. Ensuring that the facilities, equipment, materials, participants are present and that program logistics run smoothly.
• Program Designer. Preparing objectives, defining content, and selecting and sequencing activities for specific safety training.
• Strategist. Developing long-range plans for safety training and development.
• Task Analyst. Identifying safety-related activities to attain specific results.
• Theoretician. Developing and testing theories of learning, training, and development.

Minimum Qualifications - Education and Experience

• NEBOSH IGC, OR NEBOSH Diploma Certified
• Bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
• Five years experience of management/supervisory, construction, safety, industrial hygiene, risk management, or a related area which includes three (3) years of safety training or safety investigation or a closely related area. OR Associate's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Risk Management.

Job Requirments:

• Ensure delegates excel and get certified by international bodies
• Train the trainer certificate in occupational Health and Safety (HSE) or its equivalent
• Practical experience as a safety personnel in any organization
• Knowledge in PowerPoint presentation and word
• Relevant certifications in the area(s) of expertise
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience in delivering professional courses
• Passionate about teaching and facilitating.
