JOB DESCRIPTION

• Highly reputable International E&P organisation is currently seeing to identify a talented and driven individual for the role of Head Accounting and Reporting, to join their multicultural team based in Lagos, Nigeria.
• This is a permanent opportunity, and in which you will be overseeing the efficient running of the Financial Control department, and running various reporting, production of statements, as well as providing support to the Financial Controller.

Requirements:

•     Finance Graduate with 7-10 years of relevant accounting experience in the Oil and Gas Industry with a strong personality and communication skills
•     Proficient in the use of complex accounting procedure with extensive experience in preparing annual plans and budgets, as well as meeting demanding monthly reporting timetables
•     Track record of improving processes and controls with exceptional analytical and organisational skills

Additional experience is required in the following areas:

•      Processing receivables
•      Cash Control, including bank reconciliations
•      Balance sheet reconciliation statements
•      Monthly/quarterly reporting packs
•      Annual financial statements
•      Management reports
