Main Requirements:

• 2 - 3 years of industry experience as a UX/UI designer in a cross-functional team, dedicated to the complete UI/UX design and development lifecycle of successfully launched features and products.
• Experience designing for responsive web and/or native iOS/Android mobile apps
• Solid knowledge of design principles (Apple HIG, Google Material Design)
• A portfolio that displays a solid understanding of UX best practices, demonstrating systematic and creative design thinking, and prototyping experience
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite products such as Photoshop and Illustrator and rapid prototyping tools
• Experience with other design software such as Sketch, a basic understanding of HTML and CSS
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
• Detail-oriented, organized and able to prioritize workload efficiently
• Demonstrated ability to be open to and supportive of developing new ways of working with and supporting internal and external partners

Primary Responsibilities:

• Participates in all aspects of the product design and development lifecycle including problem definition, ideation, wireframing, low and hi-fidelity mockups, interaction design, user testing, creation of design guides and visual assets and supporting agile development processes
• Leverages design thinking and other user-centric design methodologies
• Independently and as part of the team creates user experience (UX) and user interaction (UI) deliverables for product features
• Participates in UX research and testing activities including the creation of usability scenarios and scripts, and integrates results into new design iterations
• Design user journeys, product workflows, and application information architecture.
• Create wireframes, prototypes and create the visual design and iterate with clients based on desired features
• Translate wireframes into mockups
• Present and communicate design solutions to product owners and stakeholders.
• Train Junior/Intern UX/UI designers
• Teamwork/Collaborate with Creative Director, Other Designers, Software Engineers/Front-end Developers, Project Managers as needed on a given project
