    Human Resource Officer

    Our client in the Manufacturing Sector seeks the services of  Human Resources Officer who can plan and direct all aspects of the organization's human resources policies, objectives, and initiatives. Responsible for employment, placement, orientation and training, employee/labor relations, compensation, benefits, and employee services. Ensures company compliance with current, applicable labor laws.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Work with company GM / Director to strategically plan HR initiatives that will benefit the company and encourage more efficient and beneficial work from employee.
    • To initiate all hiring and training procedures for new employees.
    • Continually educate employees on company policies including appropriate dress and required PPE etc.)keep employee handbook current.
    • To maintain and keep all relevant documents as per the requirements of Federal Government Agencies.
    • Monitor employee progress and stay abreast on company climate and culture, ensuring it stays positive and productive.
    • Coordinate and direct work activities for managers and employees.
    • Foster cross-functional relationships and ensure managers and employees are properly connected.
    • Regularly meet with employees for progress reviews and assessments, discussing any problems or grievances by mediation and resolution process.
    • Promote a positive and open work environment where employees feel comfortable speaking up about issues.
    • Manage and supervise other staff, ensuring they are properly assigned and carry out proper tasks.
    • Understand and adhere to all pertinent labor laws.

    Education and Qualification

    • Excellent knowledge of various HR functions such as pay & benefits, recruitment, onboarding, evaluation, training & development etc.
    • Good understanding of labor laws.
    •  Proficient in MS Office.
    •  3-5years of experience with HR software and Recruitment Marketing platform.
    • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
    •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Problem-solver.
    • Good decision-making skills.
    • BSc. in Human Resource/Personal Management or related field.M.Sc Human Resource/Personal Management.
    • Professional certification would be an added advantage.
