Business Lead, Debt Recovery at FundQuest Financial Services Limited

Responsibilities

• Recovering bad debts from delinquent debtors.
• Working with Credit Controllers to contact debtors to pursue payment.
• Devising customized recovery strategy on a case-by-case basis
• Reducing the non-performing loans owed to a company.
• Designing work-out payment plans for debtors
• Following up with clients on previous payment arrangements.
• Locating and establishing contact with debtors.
• When necessary liaising with solicitors and bailiffs.
• Negotiating settlements with clients.
• Taking ownership of debt collection cases.

Requirements

• Knowledge of proper and ethical debt collection techniques.
• Strong negotiating, counselling, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience of collecting first and third-party accounts.
• Deft Communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites Word, Excel and Access.
• Able to work well as a team and on own initiative.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 – 4 years of related experience.
• 5 O-Levels credits including Mathematics and English.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (minimum of Second Class-Lower) in Accountancy, Finance, Economics or any other related discipline.
