Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive growth, partnerships, and revenue expansion at Placid Health.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in business development, marketing, SEO, and digital growth, with a proven ability to identify opportunities, close partnerships, and lead go-to-market initiatives. An MBA is strongly preferred.
This role involves strategic planning, B2B partnerships (HMOs, NGOs, and corporate organizations), marketing leadership, and team coordination to increase brand visibility, lead generation, and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Development
- Develop and execute business growth strategies to scale Placid Health’s digital and offline services.
- Identify, pitch, and secure partnerships with HMOs, corporate organizations, NGOs, and institutional clients.
- Drive the growth and performance of service offerings, including digital therapy and medication management.
Marketing & Growth
- Lead and oversee digital marketing campaigns across Google Ads, Meta platforms, SEO, Email Marketing, and LinkedIn.
- Track performance metrics, analyze ROI, and optimize campaigns for improved lead conversion.
- Coordinate audience-specific brand campaigns (Gen Z, Millennials, working adults, and corporate clients).
Client & Partner Relationship Management
- Develop customized proposals and engagement strategies for B2B clients.
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships through structured follow-ups and strategic meetings.
- Represent Placid Health at corporate wellness programs, conferences, and business forums.
Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Collaborate with internal clinical, marketing, social media, and operations teams to align business goals.
- Supervise and mentor junior outreach staff or interns.
- Work with external vendors (e.g., design or marketing agencies) and transfer knowledge to strengthen internal capacity.
- Perform other duties as required to support organizational growth.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual business performance reports.
- Develop proposals, pricing models, forecasts, and financial projections.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend monitoring.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s Degree required (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business development, marketing, or growth roles—preferably in healthcare, health tech, or service-based industries.
- Hands-on experience with digital marketing tools: Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, HubSpot, Mailchimp, SEO/SEM tools.
- Strong B2B sales, negotiation, and partnership development skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution capability.
- Self-driven and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Must reside in Lagos or be willing to relocate.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with HMOs, corporate health clients, or healthcare stakeholders.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and analytics dashboards.
- Genuine passion for mental health and wellness innovation.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: ₦800,000 – ₦1,000,000 per month
