Duty Officer at United Geophysical (Nigeria) Limited

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answering, receiving and transfer phone calls from control room.
• Maintenance of communication gadgets like telephones PABX, radio.
• Generation of radio reconciliation reports.
• Supervision and monitoring of Company drivers and security guards.
• Supervision of policemen (NPF) and ensuring prompt payment of their wages.
• Monitoring and controlling visitors’ movement within the Company premises.
• Monitoring staff attendance.
• Maintenance of Company vehicles and monitoring Company vehicles via HF communication radio.
• Ensuring prompt and adequate pick up or drop-off of staff from airport to their places of residence.
• Supervision of domestic hands.
• Handling local or international travel transport arrangement.
• Maintenance of operational floats.
• Procurement and update of Company vehicles.
• Recording weekly expense of floats.
• Setting performance appraisal targets and objectives for the transport department.
• Procurement and disbursement of diesel lubricants.
• Maintenance of Company asset register.
• Generation of diesel usage reports for generator and vehicles.

QUALIFICATION:

• OND
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience     

REQUIREMENTS:

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be diligent.
• Must possess good listening skills and good problem solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Must be proactive and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
