. Implements human resources processes by including, manpower planning, training and development, succession planning, mentorship and coaching, employment processing, employee relations and retention.
. Working closely with departments, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures
. Understand staffing needs, job specifications, qualifications and skills.
. Manpower planning in consultation with the Functional heads.
. Meet and manage recruitment targets for the organization, mapping and documenting of all processes related to the recruitment function.
. Developing with line managers HR planning strategies which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements.
Qualification and Experience:
. Substantial HR generalist experience, preferably in a competitive corporate environment, at a senior level with direct accountability for significant HR
. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including interviewing, counseling, negotiating and report writing
. An ability to interact proactively with management and staff at all levels of the organization in the resolution of HR issues
. Demonstrated competence in conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills
. Substantial experience in the development and effective delivery/facilitation of training programs to achieved specified learning outcomes
. Proven success in the development and implementation of human resource programs and initiatives, including review and improvement of work practices
. Well-developed organizational and administrative skills, including strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and control own workload
. Demonstrated effectiveness in contributing to a small team, including the capacity to review and improve workplace practices
. Demonstrated capacity to effectively communicate, promote and uphold HR initiatives and values, including discretion and confidentiality
. Ability to contribute towards the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives to meet the needs of the organization
. Well-developed computer literacy skills within a Microsoft Office environment
