    Social Media Strategist


    This is a FULL-TIME role and is NOT open to freelancers

    As the Social Media strategist, your role is broken down into two:

    (1)     A copywriter you are able to capture the essence of key messages in as few effective words as possible (e.g. key differentiations, brand, key facts etc.) in order to tell a story that is engaging to our audience. You will work with a design and creative team to communicate with high-impact messages and have clear knowledge of how to distil complexity into simple and clear messaging.

    (2)     A channel owner you will tell these engaging stories to our audience on social media and SMS. You will provide a social media strategy for the Organisation and make the Company more of a known brand

    As a copywriter:

    • Conceptualizing and copywriting (blog content, newsletters, auto-generated emails, product descriptions, site copy and general marketing communication);
    • Brainstorming and writing creative and innovative campaign copy;
    • Work closely with the other members of the Marketing team in Nigeria and abroad to consistently develop original, relevant and impactful copy;
    • Write press releases;
    • Ensure that deadlines are consistently met without any delays;
    • Meticulously check every single piece of copy to correct mistakes and ensure that it is of the highest quality;
    • Adhere to SEO and Social Media requirements and provide support to all the Marketing channels;
    • And other duties as assigned
    • As a channel owner:
    • Brief in designs, content for social ads, SMS
    • Post, monitor and optimise Facebook campaigns & ads
    • Post content on Twitter and Instagram
    • Analyse social (brand) traffic, spend and bookings
    • Upload, monitor and optimise Twitter campaigns & ads
    • Plan upcoming social campaigns (e.g.: Black Friday Sale)
    • Weekly creative meetings
    • Create the content and language for SMS
    • Manage monthly budget for social media and SMS
    • And other duties as assigned


    • 2-4 years’ experience in a similar role
    • Hands on experience in utilizing social media platforms and their respective participants and how they can be deployed in different scenarios
    • Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, and great interpersonal skills
    • Have a good knowledge of principles of SEO

    • Ability to communicate effectively across teams and markets (Nigeria & Abroad)

    Production Controls Accountant


    Business Unit: Finance Department Name: Corporate


    Oversee the financial process of production activities which ensures adequate financial reporting of same


    • Ensure BOMs are set up with the correct ingredients and quantity as well as the correct conversion costs
    • Continuous review of BOM to ensure they reflect production inputs
    • Work with production / technical team to ensure regular update of the BOM based on changes made to grist
    • Manage the overall costing process through BOM investigation, ensuring that the standard costs for current and new products reflect the true picture and that changes are pro-actively reconciled and communicated
    • Monitor extraction rates to ensure they are correctly reflected on the BOM as well obtain explanations for deviation
    • Ensure all variances from standard consumption are explained with corrective measures to mitigate against recurrence
    • Continuous review of production process with process owners to ensure optimal performance and usage of production materials
    • Investigate and analyze Material Usage Variance (MUV) and obtain meaningful explanations from the production team on the variances.
    • Work with production team to ensure variances highlighted are closed and mitigated against
    • Work together with production team to reduce stock variances during stock count. Co-ordinate stock take activities for all production
    • Investigate all stock count variances relating to production and resolve all issues highlighted thereon
    • Ensure batch/production orders are properly created and ended
    • Daily review of production data postings into AX to ensure correctness
    • Prepare all month-end reports and analysis on production highlighting areas of improvements and cost savings
    • Analyze moisture gains/losses on wheat, flour, bran, offal etc. Review of extraction rates and grist
    • Advise on the impact of grist changes
    • Ensure new SKUs are promptly and correctly set up
    • Support production team and be the first point of contact for production team on ERP issues Develop SOPs and other production control measures for production data inputs
    • Provide support for the Site Operations Managers/Production Managers on production activities as they relate to Finance
    • Ensure all BOMs have the correct conversion costs
    • Analyze and review conversion costs with the Head of Manufacturing Finance, and key business partners, explaining key issues.
    • Continuous analysis and review of production recoveries/burdens to ensure they are up-to-date
    • Comparison of production recoveries and burdens with actual conversion costs and closure of gaps identified
    • Comparison of production recoveries and burdens with actual conversion costs and advice on optimal recovery
    • Partnering with millers and providing support involving financial implication of activities in the mills


    • Minimum requirement: First Degree or equivalent qualifications in business, management or social sciences.
    • Added advantage: Master’s Degree and/or MBA

    Manufacturing Finance Analyst


    Lead production efficiency by providing strong and directive analysis on production performance.

    • Establish and monitor key performance indicator for flour operations.
    • Monitor all capital expenditure projects and ensure prompt capitalization upon completion Ensure correct depreciation charge for all fixed assets
    • Support the fixed asset team in conducting asset verification exercise
    • Reconcile the capital work-in progress account with respective asset account
    • Ensure expenses are reported versus budget with explanations for variances received from cost centre operators
    • Provide overtime analyses by mill/department highlighting financial impact Kwh/ton analysis of energy cost
    • Calculate the impact of energy mix recommending the optimal mix for operation Track maintenance cost per ton and drive improvement with departmental head Analyze direct cost per ton and drive improvement with process owners
