    Pick up centre supervisor

     

    Reports to: Head of Customer Service
    Function: Pick up centre supervisor
    Location: Lagos
    Ref: DD/CS/PCS/0514

    Purpose Statement:
    Responsible for maintaining standards and promoting the organizational culture across our pickup centres nationwide.  Responsible for maintaining excellent pickup centre environment, cash controls and facilities maintenance to promote the positive image of the DealDey brand.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Create a process manual for all the pickup centres to ensure a standardised workflow
    • process, look, custom greeting and cleanliness of all pickup centres
    • Ensure prompt delivery of items to all pickup locations daily by liaising with the logistics team.
    • Ensure all pickup centre equipments are operational and keep a maintenance schedule to ensure servicing is done as at when due.
    • Keep abreast of all sale and return policies and special promotions run by the organization from time to time
    • Maintain pickup centre database by ensuring all customer information are captured accurately
    • Keeps and maintains written and computerized records relating to customer pickups across all locations
    • Enhance the reputation of the organization by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
    • Maintain a close work relationship with the Operations and Logistics team to ensure customer orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Maintain an effective weekly/monthly/quarterly roster to adequately staff the pickup centres
    • Conduct customer service satisfaction surveys from time to time to find out about the image of the organization
    • Supervise activities of the pickup centre team to ensure efficiency in responding to customers when orders are picked up.
    • Instructs team about safe work practices and enforce strict adherence
    • Trains, monitors, evaluates and improves the performance of subordinates
    • Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Unit Head

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

    • Minimum of a University degree in any related discipline
    • Minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar role
    • Customer focus/people oriented
    • Data entry skills
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize own work load
    • Excellent communication skills (written & oral)
    • Good problem solving skills

    Content Editor

     

    Reports to: Head of Content Management
    Function: Content Editor

    Purpose Statement:
    The role holder would be responsible for planning, creating, editing and publishing inspiring messages on the DealDey website. Responsible for providing good product and service information with images on the DealDey website which would have a positive impact on customer buying decisions and online user experience.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Create/modify content for products and services sold on DealDey.com
    • Provide accurate product images and informative text-based products and services descriptions
    • Provide additional descriptive content that can help customers make more informed buying decisions
    • Ensure that content is timely, relevant, compelling and highly engaging
    • Based on strict adherence to guidelines, determine acceptance of content submitted by suppliers and moderate, as appropriate
    • Champion new initiatives to improve editorial processes

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

    • Minimum of a University degree in any related discipline
    • Excellent communication skills\Strong attention to detail
    • Self-starter with ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
    • Personal initiative, flexibility, and intellectual curiosity
    • Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise and manage a large workload
    • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with merchants or reps supplying information on products and services

    Customer Service Representative

     

    Reports to: Head of Customer Service
    Function: Customer Service Representative
    Location: Lagos & Abuja

    Purpose Statement:
    Responsible for interacting with the company’s customers to provide them with information to address inquiries regarding products and services as well as deal with and help resolve any customer complaints.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Responding to enquiries, complaints, requests, feedbacks and suggestions by customers via telephone, email and all social media platforms
    • Credit customers’ accounts after payments are made to our partnering banks and through the different payment platforms
    • Upload deals using personal URL on Twitter and responding to enquiries, complaints, requests, feedbacks and suggestions via Twitter
    • Sorting out and ensuring prompt delivery of items to customers daily
    • Keep abreast of all sales and returns policies and special promotions run by the organization from time to time
    • Maintain call center database by entering all customer information accurately
    • Keep all call centre equipment operational by following established procedures; as well as reporting malfunctions
    • Enhance the reputation of the organization by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
    • Maintain a close work relationship with the Operations and Logistics team to ensure customer orders are processed on time
    • Conduct individual periodic market survey about the image of the organization
    • Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Unit Head

    Inventory Manager

     

    Reports to: Operations Manager
    Function: Operations, Inventory Control

    Purpose Statement:
    This role is responsible for accurate inventory control for inbound and outbound goods from DealDey Warehouse.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Develop all policies and procedures surrounding the maintenance of proper inventory levels in partnership with the Warehouse Manager
    • Reaching or surpassing international quality and traceability standards
    • Maximize service levels and inventory turnover while minimizing error rates
    • Establish a proper inventory planning procedure, defining optimal inventory levels, and monitoring inventory levels
    • Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures
    • Monitor and investigate inventory discrepancies
    • Implement loss prevention procedures and practices
    • Establish and maintain an organized flow of goods in the warehouse. Conduct periodic physical inventory counts as required by company policy and reconcile the inventory records for a complete and accurate count
    • Implement proper and accurate inventory policies to deter theft and inventory misuse
    • Manage and control perpetual inventory stock counting/inventory accuracy checks
    • Minimize overstock and removal of obsolete/redundant products to maximize availability of storage space and working capital
    • Provide routine management information on inventory performance
    • Supervise managing and running planned stock taking exercises in the Order Fulfilment Centre

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

    • This position requires a University graduate or its equivalent with at least 3years experience in a similar position
    • Candidate must possess ability to multi task in a dynamic environment
    • A good understanding of inventory procedures would give added advantage

    Inventory Officer

     

    Reports to: Operations Manager
    Function: Inventory Officer
    Location: Lagos

    Purpose Statement:
    Responsible for receiving and issuing out inventory to all users and maintaining accurate inventory records. 

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Ensure inbound and outbound inventory are receipted and managed appropriately according to company procedure.
    • Responsible for reporting shortages, overages for all inventory levels weekly/monthly
    • Responsible for classifying, labeling and warehousing all inventory for easy retrieval
    • Keep accurate records of inventory levels and location.
    • Responsible for communicating with sales category managers and purchasing on inventory levels and take out status.
    • Must maintain a record of all transfers either via take out or delivery and disposal.
    • Responsible for implementing and following a control system to reduce damages, breakage and inventory obsolescence.
    • Receives and logs all incoming inventory from both proprietary purchases and returns.
    • Conduct periodic physical inventory counts as required by company policy and reconcile the inventory records for a complete and accurate count.
    • Implement proper and accurate inventory policies to deter theft and inventory misuse
    • Manage and control perpetual inventory stock counting / inventory accuracy checks
    • Minimise overstocks and removal of obsolete / redundant products to maximize availability of storage space and working capital.
    • Provide routine management information on inventory performance
    • Implement improvement processes and systems to reduce inventory, minimize costs and maximize working capital.
    • Write and maintain accurate written procedures for inventory control processes and functions. Participate in managing and running planned stock taking exercises in the Order Fulfilment Centre.
    • Working team members to combat issues surrounding quality, best practice and speedof their work
    • Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Unit Head

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

    Minimum of a University degree in any related discipline
    Minimum of 1 year working experience in a similar role would be an added advantage

    Quality Control Officer

     

    Reports to: Operations Manager
    Function: Operations, Quality Control
    Ref: DD/OQC/QCO/0214

    Purpose Statement:
        This role is responsible for ensuring the quality of the Merchant’s goods in and out of DealDey Warehouse.

    Key Accountabilities:
            To plan, manage and review quarterly the programme for all nominated Merchant product evaluations, analysing and reporting the results for the Merchants goods and inventory performance measures and making recommendations for improvements.
            To manage the completion and documentation of all nominated Merchant’s’ product specifications working cohesively with the Operations & Sales Team.
            To work closely with the Sales & Marketing teams to ensure Merchant’s adherence to defined product standards.
            To carry out on the spot inspection of the Warehouse ensuring that Merchant goods are properly stored.
            To manage the compliance of Merchants to DealDey’s specifications, standards, and procedure of operations in manner that ensures consistency of products offer.
            To investigate, monitor and report all alleged tampered goods & products. Initiate immediate remedial actions, analysing and collating the findings for the Operations Manager & Security Coordinator.
            To inspect Merchants goods going in and out of the Warehouse and ensure compliance to laid down policy and procedures.
            Ensure compliance to Health and Safety procedures for employees and goods at the Ware house.
       
    Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
        This position requires a University graduate or its equivalent with at least 3years experience in a similar position. Candidate must possess Ability to multi task in a dynamic environment. A good understanding of Ware house operations and Health & Safety Certifications would give added advantage.

    Front Desk Officer

     

    Reports to: HR Manager
    Function: Front Desk Officer
    Job Ref: DD/HR/FDO/0514

    Purpose Statement:
    The role holder would be responsible for attending to walk in visitors and deal with inquiries on the phone. Supply information regarding the organization, services and policies to clients.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Serving as a primary receptionist-answer and direct incoming calls and assisting visitors.
    • Stocking and distributing office supplies to all DealDey locations
    • Maintain appointment diary either manually or electronically
    • Supervise office support staff to ensure delivery of assigned duties timely
    • Coordinating incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
    • General administrative and clerical support
    • Operational knowledge of Guest Relations or Front Office.
    • Maintain the general filing system and file all correspondence
    • Ensures preparation of meetings and  conferences venues
    • Maintain an adequate inventory of office supplies
    • Make sure office is kept clean & tidy throughout the day
    • Report any maintenance issues immediately to line manager, including all furniture, fittings and equipment
    • Assist the C-level mangers as requested
    • Deliver excellent customer service, at all times.
    • Perform other related duties as required.

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

    • Minimum of an OND
    • Minimum of 1 year working experience in a similar role would be an added advantage
    • Good problem solving skills
    • Ability to work with little or no supervision
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple client/project queries at a time, are essential.
    • Ability to prioritize and plan work schedules as appropriate
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Packages and the use of the Internet.
