    Product Manager

    Details:
    Our client is a multinational retail chain organization specializing in household and consumer goods including cosmetics, stationery, toys, and kitchenware. It has been expanding globally since its establishment and have opened more than 1,800 stores around the world. They also created a new business style, which combines fashion and leisure together, becoming the main force in the department stores and shopping centers with catering, fast fashion clothing and entertainment industries. They currently have an opening for Product Manager.

    Job Profile
    The Product Manager is responsible and accountable for supply chain, quality control, inventory management and forecasting, and new product development in collaboration with the sales and marketing department.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Analyzing the marketplace and design product strategy based on product range
    • Searching for and capitalizing on new product opportunities
    • Manages positioning and branding for the product range
    • Developing product launch programmes
    • Managing new products projects from start to end
    • Understanding the marketplace and customer needs in order to advice in product development
    • Working closely with the sales and marketing departments to develop sales and marketing strategy
    • Work collaboratively with Sales, R&D, Marketing and the Finance business units to forecast inventory requirements

    Key Requirements

    • Minimum of 6 years experience in a management position within the FMCG sector is a must
    • Experience developing product marketing and retail pricing strategies
    • Proven track record in sales and established strong networks within the FMCG sector
    • In depth understanding of the retail sector
    • Supply Chain knowledge
    • Ability to analyze and predict market trends
    • Experience in working with and managing a team
    • Proficiency in customer relation and communication skills

    Job Description
    The Business Development Manager will serve as brand ambassador for the travel company within the retail travel agency network and the industry as a whole. You will be responsible and accountable for creating and maximizing sales opportunities and actively promote, educate and sell the products and services, in alignment with the overall company strategy to ensure that growth in sales is generated from your efforts.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Build and nurture a strong sales pipeline; by qualifying, scoping and closing opportunities in line with the sales process
    • Build rapport and sustain long-term relationships, based on trust and consistent delivery to expectations
    • Produce clear, well-structured, concise written summaries and reports and will be initiating own activities within 'best fit'  target,
    • Manage customer relationships from initial prospect call to close of sale
    • Maintain your competitive knowledge and focus 
    • Grow and retain clients by presenting new solutions and services to them.
    • Identify the decision makers within the prospective clients organization and build relationship with them.

    Skills and requirements

    • B.sc in any related discipline
    • 2-3 years’ experience in sales/business development within the corporate travel sector is a must
    • Ability to demonstrate good travel industry knowledge
    • Must possess outstanding ability to build rapport both internally and externally
    • Proven sales track record in growing and managing key account relationships, with high value deals and negotiations
    • Possess excellent communication and presentation skills in order to influence and persuade clients at senior management  and director level
    • Have excellent business and commercial awareness and strong networking skills
