Job Description:
The candidate will have to lead, plan, manage and direct all the mining, hydrological, processing and tailings activities
 
Responsibilities:
To manage mining, processing, civils, admin + finance, tailings, water, maintenance of a mining project.
Must ensure that all managers are properly organized and monitored
Needs to have a good general understanding of all mining related aspects but the base metal mines will be directly lead by the geologists within the company

Requirements:

Qualification and Skill

• B.E Mining Engineering or a Mineral Processing Degree
• Good communication (written and verbal) – good proficiency of English
• Computer literacy skills – able to utilize mining software programs e.g. Datamine, Surpac, Micromine etc.
• 12+ years’ experience in operating mines and processing plants (Metalliferous)
• Needs experience of financial reporting + budget planning and monitoring + calculating of operating costs
• Needs to either have expertise in Mining or Processing i.e. A good understanding of open pit mining methods in wet environments or a good understanding of managing Zinc/Lead/Copper mineral processing plants

Job Description:
The candidate will be expected to manage all repairs, maintenance and production for the plant.
Responsibilities:

• Will be required to handle the process equipment’s in repair and maintenance and production techniques for smooth working of Lead/Zinc/Copper mineral processing plants
• To develop and manage scheduled and preventative maintenance systems and protocol
• To guide the team to reach all objectives set by the company
• Forecasting and budgeting of repairs and maintenance

Requirements:

Qualification and Skill

• BEng / BE Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in Processing Plants (Crushing, milling, flotation)
• Experience with Apron Feeders, Autogenous Mills, Vibrating Screens, Pumps (slurry/fresh), Material Handling Conveyors, etc.
• Experience with Feeders, Crushers, Impactors, Rod Mills, Mag-Separators, Classifiers, Material Handling Equipment –Conveyor Belts
• Experience with Reciprocating Feeders, Impactor Crushers, Ball Mills, Magnetic Separators, Disc Filters, Material Handling Conveyors, Pumps-Fresh/Slurry, Thickeners & other related equipment for Magnetite iron ore processing of capacity 400 T/Hr.
• Experience with Crushers (Jaw & Cone), Hydro-cyclones, and Filters etc.
